Usually she’d do her run during my shorter afternoon run and on one of those, Mia actually dropped me. These past few months, though, I had gotten to run with her more often, as we took advantage of school being online to take a few training camp trips to Colorado. Typically Mia trains with her team in the fall and spring when they are in season, but we run together on weekends and in the off season. This fall, I got to see more of her training than usual.
